Accounting/Fiscal Manager I (Budget Director)

Position Description

Under the direct supervision of the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration, the Budget Director will manage and develop all aspects of the institution’s budget management system; provide financial and strategic planning support; budget development, implementation and coordination with the USC System; provide revenue and expenditure analysis and financial reporting; supervision of grants accounting position and admin staff in the area of Business and Finance; oversee maintenance of Division’s website and University policies and procedures; and perform other duties as assigned. Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, or business administration and 6 years professional accounting experience. Experience in public higher education budgeting preferred. Must have experience with Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and practices.
